Hello everyone!

Haven’t had much of a chance to update because the comp I’m currently using is at the uni where we only get a half hour break in the middle of a four hour class. Fun Fun. Actually, to be perfectly honest, it is fun, because I’m in the beginner class and for once I’m the smart one! Tres awesome.

Its bloody hot here. I keep going on and on about it but it really is. I’m thirsty all the time. Yay for adequate hydration.

Met my host family a couple of nights ago. They’re nice and under different circumstances I think we could have been friends. There’s the mother, Donzillia who broke her leg before I got there and has been hobbling around without crutches despite the fact that she looks like a retard doing it (she does have crutches; I just don’t know why she doesn’t use them). Two daughters, Clara 19 and Audrey 18, and a son, Tibou. I think that’s how its spelt. I’ve been given his room, poor thing. It a nice room, lots of space and a bookshelf full of Asterix comics (I love Asterix) but the bed creaks horribly. Like, I can’t blink an eyelash without hearing a very loud “ SCCCCCCCCCCCCRRREEEEEEECHHHHHCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKK”. Yeh not fun for me, that.

Haven’t been bitten by a disease-riddled mosquito yet which is good.

Haven’t taken a lot of photos yet (relatively speaking) and what I have is mostly scenery. Its very beautiful here but it just doesn’t have the same effect in a photo.

Sigh. Must run now, Jean-Pierre calls. Time for class.
